Vintage hardcover edition of Another Country by James Baldwin, published by The Dial Press. Copyright page states “Fifth Printing, August 1962.” Original dust jacket present with bold red and blue typographic design.
Book retains its original two-tone cloth boards with Baldwin’s facsimile signature on the front cover. Interior pages are clean and bright with solid binding. A strong early printing of Baldwin’s landmark novel exploring race, sexuality, relationships, and identity in 1960s New York. An increasingly collectible Baldwin title, especially in early printings with original dust jacket.
